WORDS OF WISDOM
PERSONAL PROJECT
This is a project I started as a wedding present for my sister and her husband-to-be that grew to be much more after. The gift was a series of cards each containing a token of wisdom from couples further down the road of experience. I designed a hand-crafted look and feel for the card and then handed out 50 of them, 2 per couple.
They were returned with words, images, anything the author thought relevant and the participants ranged from 50 years of togetherness to 3.
After much interest and discussion the project continued. I believe it reflects the hopeful and helpful side of successful couple stories. The stories that can challenge tabloid tragedy break-ups and give advice to those starting their journey. The final destination for these cards other than display is currently under consideration.
